Magnetic is a contemporary music magazine focused on artists, music, creativity, and culture. The magazine aims to create a strong visual connection between the reader and the world of music through expressive typography, bold imagery, and experimental layouts.

With the cover, they want to convey the creative nature of their brand and the fact that they support artistic progressive culture. They don’t want a conventional cover featuring only a photograph. They want to feature a unique custom-made design on their cover – inspired by an article that will also be in the magazine.

This project explores the design of a contemporary magazine cover featuring AVICII.
One of the most influential electronic music artists of his generation. His music didn’t just stop the top charts—it shifted the culture of dance music.

The aim was to create a visually striking cover that reflects his musical legacy while applying modern editorial design principles, including typography, composition, and the clipping mask effect.
